Making Upcycled Chips Feel Down-to-Earth 🌎
Client: Kazoo Snacks
Project Type: Brand Strategy, Packaging, Identity
Team: Meaningful Works
Role: Assoc. Design Director
The Opportunity
As the first upcycled tortilla chip, Kazoo needed packaging that made its sustainability story feel simple and inviting in a crowded chip category.
The Approach
We leaned into National-Park cues—sun-baked hues, rugged type, open skies—to frame a bigger environmental story than “just chips.” A technical “Saves 20 Gallons” badge became a cleaner “Low Water Footprint” mark, putting Kazoo’s water-saving mission front and center.

The Result
The redesign won shelf space in Sprouts Innovation Centers, helping Kazoo break into retail.
